New partner institution: Austrian Film Museum
As a new partner in the Kulturpool, the Austrian Film Museum has been presenting highlights from its collections on the central portal for digitised cultural heritage from Austrian museums, archives and libraries since September.

The OeAI now new to the Kulturpool
Starting in September, the Austrian Archaeological Institute will be part of Kulturpool – a central online portal that provides digital access to Austria's cultural heritage. More than one million objects from museums, libraries, and archives are already available to the public there in the form of images, texts, audio files, videos, and 3D models.

Newly arrived: Medieval manuscripts from Tyrol
As part of the ‘Libri Stamsenses’ project, more than 300 medieval manuscripts from the collection of the Cistercian Abbey of Stams have been digitised. This unique cultural heritage is now available online. This means that the ULB Tirol is also represented in the Kulturpool with a significant contribution.

Newly arrived: Heiligenkreuz collections
Austria is home to a particularly large number of Cistercian monasteries that have been preserved over the centuries. The Heiligenkreuz Abbey and its collections are now also represented on the Kulturpool.

660,000 digitised items from the holdings of the Austrian National Library
The Austrian National Library is one of the main contributors to Kulturpool. These include out-of-copyright works such as books and prints published after 1501, but also around 500 manuscripts on the history of the Jesuits, for example.
